Training Packages & Prices

The National Association of Home Inspectors requires the completion of 40 CEU credits to become a member of their organization.

Here at REITI training institute, we offer multiple ways to achieve that status of criteria:

  • Program # 1 "Entry Level" = 40 hours
    (Recommended for little or no background)
  • Program # 2 "Hands-on Simulator" and # 4 "Correspondence" = 40 hours
    (Recommended for contractors or tradesman)
  • Program # 3 "Full Training Course" = 60 hours
    (Recommended with no background)
  • Program # 4 "Correspondence" and
    Attend 10 - NAHI State Chapter meetings = 40 hours
    (Recommended for the long term progressive entrepreneur)
  • Program # 4 "Correspondence" and
    Attend 10 - REITI Spotlight night CEU meetings = 40 hours
    (Recommended for the long term progressive entrepreneur)

Requirements:
A $225.00 deposit is required to reserve your place in class. The 5-volume training manual book set of "The Home Inspectors Library" will be shipped upon receiving this deposit. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Full credit will be given against balance due for any of the above manuals purchased within the last 6 months. All balances must be paid by the first day of class. (Limited to 10 students per session)


Class contents includes:

•Coverage of the ASHI - NAHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
•The 5 - volume set of "The Home Inspectors Library" ™ written by the instructors
•The process of inspecting and understanding residential electric, plumbing, HVAC, roof and structure.
•Thousands of photo's taken from actual home inspections with detailed explanation. Gain exposure that would take years in the field to see.
•Basic marketing strategies and business start-up, including office & clerical issues.
•Main concepts and issues of home inspections
•Report writing and usage
•Legal aspects of home inspections including agreements
•Coverage of tools commonly used during a home inspection. Save money by finding out what you need and what you don't.
•5 - Exams consisting of 250 questions
•Basic hands on components including: a forced air furnace with an
AC a-coil, a water heater and main electrical panel.

Requirements:
A $225.00 deposit is required to reserve your place and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
All balances must be paid by the
firstday of class. (Limited to 10 students per session and who have completed our "correspondence" or
"entry-level courses"


Class contents includes:

•Inspecting a complete real house, set up for testing the students knowledge.
•Museum components that date back to the 1920's.
•Inspecting and report documenting on the following items below:
10 - Roof assemblies, including slate, wood shake, clay tile and more.
10 - Electrical main and sub-panels, including breakers and fuses
10 - Multiple types of water heaters, including oil and electric.
10 - Different types of heating systems, including:
(Up flow, down flow and horizontal forced air, gravity, oil forced air, boiler, electric, 70%, 80%, 90% and more.)

The 5-volume training manual book set of "The Home Inspectors Library" will be shipped upon receiving payment (NON-REFUNDABLE). A $25.00 fee is required for each manual exam that you send in for evaluation, in order to receive your certificate of completion. Shipping & handling will apply.
